How much will carriage cost?

Carriage is based on sizes, quantities and weight of the items ordered and is calculated automatically by our system. If you place an order for a single football for instance, you will be able to pay the lower carriage. However, if you keep adding items or quantities to your basket and exceed weight and/or size thresholds for the minimum charge, you will lose the choice of the lower carriage and may only pay the higher carriage.

Royal Mail Delivery - 3.95(GBP)

Once processed, orders will be despatched from our Warehouse via Royal Mail Recorded Delivery Service at a standard delivery charge of 3.95(GBP).

Courier Parcel Delivery - from 6.95(GBP)

Once processed, orders will be despatched from our Warehouse via Courier parcel delivery at a standard delivery charge of 6.95*(GBP). This applies where none of the items ordered attract a fixed carriage and the total weight of the order does not exceed 30kg. Where an item on the order attracts special fixed carriage, there is an additional charge; this is displayed on the product page and will be applied at checkout.

Fixed carriage items only

Where an order only contains items with fixed carriage, the carriage payable is calculated per item so 3 items with fixed carriage charge incurs a cost of 3 x the carriage charge. In some cases we are able to reduce this multiple cost so please call our sales team who will be able to advise. Fixed carriage items can take slightly longer to be delivered.

How long before I receive my goods?

Depending on where you live, the estimated delivery period varies. If your items are in stock, they should be with you within 3-5 working days. If your order is particularly urgent, we advise that you contact a member of our sales team.

Currently we deliver to the mainland UK, Northern Ireland, Isle of Wight and the channel islands only. Please make arrangements to accept the goods on arrival. If any of the items ordered are out of stock, we will advise you via email. You will be able to choose between the two delivery options during the checkout process. Please ensure that a telephone number is provided in order to contact you if necessary.

All goods ordered are offered strictly subject to availability. All deliveries must be signed for and are despatched with an itemised Delivery Note. Care should be taken when unpacking deliveries.

Some items may be subject to longer lead-time. Times and dates given for delivery are estimates only and are not binding contractual obligations. Out of stock items will be despatched as soon as they become available. Sports Directory will not accept responsibility for any direct or consequential loss or damage caused by any delay or advance in delivery.

Please note that items such as clothing and heavy or large equipment take on average,10-14days to ship and are not covered by our standard delivery periods.
