Slazenger Pickleball Pack Competition: Terms and Conditions

Competition summary: Individuals employed by UK schools can enter for a chance to win a Pickleball Progression Pack. The prize is designed to help schools introduce or develop pickleball activities, supporting pupils as they build confidence, coordination and racket sport skills.

1. Organiser

  • The competition is organised by BSL International Limited trading as Sports Directory (“Sports Directory”), located at Dartford, England.

2. Eligibility

  • 2.1. The competition is open to individuals aged 18 years or older.

  • 2.2. The competition is open to individuals who are employed by a UK school at the time of the prize draw.

  • 2.3. Entries from individuals outside the UK, those under the age of 18, and those who are not employed by a UK school will not be accepted and will automatically be disqualified.

  • 2.4. Employees of Sports Directory, and any individual professionally associated with the competition, are not eligible to enter the draw.

3. Entry

  • 3.1. No purchase is necessary to enter the competition.

  • 3.2. Only one entry per person is permitted.

  • 3.3. The competition will open on Monday 21st September 2026 and close at 11:59pm on Sunday 18th October 2026. Entries received outside this period will not be considered.

  • 3.4. Participants must provide the requested information, including their name, contact details, school name and job role. This information will be used to verify eligibility and administer the competition.

4. Winners and Prizes

  • 4.1. One winner will be selected at random and contacted using the email address provided.

  • 4.2. Winners will be required to verify their employment at a UK school using their school email address or other reasonable evidence requested by Sports Directory.

  • 4.3. The winner will receive one Pickleball Progression Pack, designed to help schools develop pupils’ pickleball skills, confidence and participation. The prize includes: 8 x Smash Pickleball Paddles, 6 x Indoor Pickleballs, 6 x Outdoor Pickleballs and 1 x 6.7m Pickleball Net System.

  • 4.4. Winners must be employed by a UK school at the time of the prize draw.

  • 4.5. Sports Directory reserves the right to substitute the prize with an alternative prize of equal or greater value should circumstances beyond its control make this necessary.

5. Data Protection

  • 5.1. By entering the competition, participants agree to the processing of their personal data by Sports Directory solely for the purposes of administering the competition and contacting the winner(s).

  • 5.2. Winners agree that their name and school name may be published as part of post-competition publicity, including but not limited to Sports Directory's website, email communications and social media channels.

  • 5.3. Sports Directory will handle personal data in accordance with applicable data protection legislation and its Privacy Policy.

  • 5.4. Participants may choose to opt in to receive marketing communications from Sports Directory, but doing so is not a condition of entry. Participants who do not opt in will not receive marketing communications.

6. Liability

  • 6.1. Sports Directory accepts no responsibility for entries that are lost, delayed, misdirected, incomplete, corrupted or otherwise unable to be processed for any technical or other reason.

  • 6.2. Participants acknowledge that the competition is not sponsored, endorsed, administered by or associated with any third-party organisation unless explicitly stated otherwise.

7. General

  • 7.1. Sports Directory reserves the right to cancel, suspend or amend the competition and these Terms and Conditions where necessary due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control.

  • 7.2. Any changes to the competition will be communicated as soon as reasonably possible.

  • 7.3. The decision of Sports Directory in all matters relating to the competition is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into.

  • 7.4. The competition and these Terms and Conditions are governed by English law and subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

  • 7.5. Entrants will be deemed to have accepted these Terms and Conditions and agreed to be bound by them upon entering the competition.
