We're proud to be supporting the Dorset Leadership Academy, an initiative that helps young people across Dorset develop their confidence, leadership skills and passion for sport and physical activity. As we look forward to this year's event, we want to celebrate the teachers and school staff who play such an important role in inspiring the next generation of young leaders.

To mark the occasion, we're giving 5 lucky teachers the chance to win a £100 Sports Directory voucher, with a total giveaway value of £500.

Whether it's refreshing your PE equipment, introducing new activities or investing in resources to encourage more pupils to get active, a little extra support can go a long way. This competition is our way of saying thank you to the dedicated teachers and school sport staff who make a difference every day.

Dorset Leadership Academy Voucher Competition: Terms and Conditions

Competition summary: To celebrate Sports Directory's support of the Dorset Leadership Academy, individuals employed by UK schools can enter for a chance to win one of five £100 Sports Directory vouchers. A total prize fund of £500 is available, with five winners each receiving a £100 Sports Directory voucher code to spend on sports, PE and school equipment available from Sports Directory.

1. Organiser

  • The competition is organised by BSL International Limited trading as Sports Directory (“Sports Directory”), located in Dartford, England.

2. Eligibility

  • 2.1. The competition is open to individuals aged 18 years or older.

  • 2.2. The competition is open to individuals who are employed by a UK school at the time of the prize draw.

  • 2.3. Entries from individuals outside the UK, those under the age of 18, and those who are not employed by a UK school will not be accepted and will automatically be disqualified.

  • 2.4. Employees of Sports Directory, and any individual professionally associated with the competition, are not eligible to enter the draw.

3. Entry

  • 3.1. No purchase is necessary to enter the competition.

  • 3.2. Only one entry per person is permitted.

  • 3.3. The competition will open on 3rd November 2026 and close at 11:59pm GMT on 15th December 2026. Entries received outside this period will not be considered.

  • 3.4. Participants must provide the requested information, including their name, contact details, school name and job role. This information will be used to verify eligibility and administer the competition.

4. Winners and Prizes

  • 4.1. Five winners will be selected at random from all eligible entries and contacted using the email address provided.

  • 4.2. Winners will be required to verify their employment at a UK school using their school email address or other reasonable evidence requested by Sports Directory.

  • 4.3. Each winner will receive one £100 Sports Directory voucher code.

  • 4.4. All vouchers are issued excluding VAT. The voucher value will be deducted from the net value of eligible products before VAT is calculated. VAT will then be charged at the applicable rate on any remaining net balance.

  • 4.5. Winners must be employed by a UK school at the time of the prize draw.

  • 4.6. The prize is awarded to the winning individual and may be used to purchase products from the Sports Directory website.

  • 4.7. Voucher codes are non-transferable, non-exchangeable and cannot be redeemed for cash or any other form of compensation.

  • 4.8. Voucher codes may be used in conjunction with applicable discounts, offers and promotions available on the Sports Directory website at the time of purchase, unless otherwise stated.

  • 4.9. Sports Directory reserves the right to substitute the prize with an alternative prize of equal or greater value should circumstances beyond its control make this necessary.

  • 4.10. Each voucher will be valid for six months from the date it is issued to the winner. The expiry date will be confirmed in the prize notification email.

5. Data Protection

  • 5.1. Sports Directory will process entrants' personal data for the purposes of administering the competition, verifying eligibility, selecting winners and distributing prizes, in accordance with applicable data protection legislation.

  • 5.2. Sports Directory may request winners' permission to feature their name, school or photograph in post-competition publicity. Participation in such publicity is voluntary and will not affect their entitlement to a prize.

  • 5.3. Sports Directory will handle personal data in accordance with applicable data protection legislation and its Privacy Policy.

  • 5.4. Participants may choose to opt in to receive marketing communications from Sports Directory, but doing so is not a condition of entry. Participants who do not opt in will not receive marketing communications.

6. Liability

  • 6.1. Sports Directory accepts no responsibility for entries that are lost, delayed, misdirected, incomplete, corrupted or otherwise unable to be processed for any technical or other reason.

  • 6.2. This competition is organised and administered by Sports Directory as part of its sponsorship of the Dorset Leadership Academy. The Academy and its event organisers are not responsible for administering the competition or providing the prizes, unless otherwise expressly agreed.

7. General

  • 7.1. Sports Directory reserves the right to cancel, suspend or amend the competition and these Terms and Conditions where necessary due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control.

  • 7.2. Any changes to the competition will be communicated as soon as reasonably possible.

  • 7.3. Sports Directory's decision regarding the administration of the competition and verification of entries is final, subject to applicable law.

  • 7.4. The competition and these Terms and Conditions are governed by English law and subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

  • 7.5. Entrants will be deemed to have accepted these Terms and Conditions and agreed to be bound by them upon entering the competition.
